We are learning to solve maths problems.

There are 25  children in my class and  11 are girls. How many boys are in my class?

  1. Hi Liana I think the answer is 13 because I know that 25-11=13.

  2. Hi Liana,

What a great maths problem! The answer is 14.

If there are 25 children and we take 11 away because they're girls, we are left with 14 boys.
    25 - 11 = 14
